The West Coast jewelry industry demonstrated the power of collaboration on August 24, 2026, as more than 250 jewelry professionals from across the United States came together in Los Angeles for the Los Angeles Jewelry Trading Event followed by an evening Mega Mixer at Elevate Lounge.

Hosted by Diamond Club West Coast+ 24K(DCWC), the Indian Diamond & Colored Stone Association (IDCA), and Jewelers of America (JA), and sponsored by International Gemological Institute(IGI), Polygon, and International Jewelry Center (IJC), the Los Angeles Jewelry Trading Event brought together a diverse cross-section of the jewelry industry for a day focused on business, relationship building, and new opportunities.

The B2B event featured an extensive range of companies and professionals across the industry, including luxury and fine jewelry, colored gemstones, luxury watches, pearls, natural and laboratory-grown diamonds, jewelry manufacturers, emerging designers, and technology and industrial solutions. Attendees also had access to a special rate from Jewelers Mutual.

Rather than highlighting competition, the event demonstrated that the West Coast jewelry community is large and diverse enough for businesses across different sectors to come together, collaborate, and create opportunities for one another.

“While our industry can sometimes feel competitive, this event showed that there is room for everyone to succeed,” said Tyler Milrot of Jewelers Mutual Group. “When we come together, share resources, build relationships, and support one another, we strengthen the entire industry.”

The business-focused day was followed by an evening of networking and celebration at Elevate Lounge, bringing together 12 jewelry organizations and industry groups in a collaborative effort:

  • Diamond Club West Coast + Jewelers 24 Karat Club of Southern CA

  • Indian Diamond & Colorstone Association (IDCA)

  • Jewelers of America (JA)

  • Polygon

  • AGS Young Titleholders

  • GIA Alumni Association

  • Women’s Jewelry Association (WJA) Los Angeles

  • Armenian Jewellers Association (AJA)

  • Black in Jewelry Coalition (BIJC)

  • Jewelers Security Alliance (JSA)

The Mega Mixer was sponsored by Krainz Creations and Jewelers Mutual Group, and provided an informal setting for industry professionals to continue conversations, build relationships, and connect across different sectors of the trade.

Together, the two events welcomed more than 250 attendees from across the United States, creating opportunities for business, networking, education, collaboration, and meaningful industry connections.

The events also reflected a broader message for the jewelry community: a stronger industry is built when its members work together. From industry safety and security to business development and professional relationships, collaboration allows organizations and individuals to address challenges collectively and create a stronger future for the trade.

As the second-largest jewelry hub in the United States, Los Angeles and the West Coast continue to play an important role in the national jewelry industry. The August 24 events demonstrated the strength of that community and the impact that can be created when organizations put collaboration ahead of competition.
