Copper-bearing tourmalines, known as Paraíba tourmalines, have captivated gem collectors, dealers and jewellery enthusiasts worldwide since their discovery in the late 1980s.

visited the BDB complex on July 24, and after being shown around the complex, engaged with members of the Bourse Committee.
