“Selecting winners proved nearly impossible this year; it was like identifying the brightest star in a dazzling constellation. Our judges deliberated extensively over numerous powerful entries that demonstrated tangible benefits for people, communities and the planet. The jewellery industry clearly flourishes with innovators who are quietly transforming our world, one inspired action at a time,” said Celine Lau, Director of Jewellery Fairs at Informa Markets Jewellery.
While sustainability and commercial success naturally align, the true transformation happens when a company’s mission extends beyond profit margins, Lau continued.
“Organisations are embracing sustainability despite its inherent complexities because they recognise it’s fundamentally the right path forward. Our 2025 Winners and Finalists aren’t just talking about making a difference; they’re actually doing the hard work that matters for our future,” she said.
The Awardees were selected by accomplished experts from diverse fields, both within and beyond the jewellery industry. The jury consisted of John Mulligan, Head of Sustainability Strategy at the World Gold Council (WGC) and President of the Sustainable Development Commission of the World Jewellery Confederation (CIBJO); Brandee Dallow, President of the Community for Ethical Jewelry (formerly Ethical Metalsmiths) and Chief Sustainability Officer at Grandview Klein Diamonds; Caroline Yuan, Vice President of the Shanghai Diamond Exchange (SDE); Andrew Lau, Director of ESG Advisory for Colliers Asia, and Jan Porter, Director of ESG at B2B beauty solutions provider, Meiyume.
