The India Pavilion at the Bangkok Gem and Jewellery Fair was officially opened by H.E. Mr. Nagesh Singh, Ambassador of India to Thailand, who performed the ribbon-cutting ceremony at the venue.

Organised by the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), the pavilion brought together 16 Indian companies occupying 23 booths, presenting a diverse range of jewellery and gemstone offerings to international buyers and trade visitors.

The Ambassador was received by representatives of the Gem and Jewelry Institute of Thailand (GIT), including Director Mr. Sumed P. and Deputy Director Mr. Sitthichai P. Officials from the Embassy of India in Thailand were also in attendance, among them Ms. Jagpreet Kaur, First Secretary (Economic & Commerce), and Mr. Navin Bhardwaj, Attaché (Economic & Commerce).

The B2B exhibition witnessed notable footfall from Thai buyers along with visitors from multiple overseas markets, reflecting steady interest in Indian craftsmanship and strengthening trade engagement between the two countries.
