The All India Gem & Jewellery Domestic Council (GJC) and SGL Labs have joined hands to present the SGL Pavilion at GJS Diwali Edition 2026, being held from 2–4 October 2026 at the Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai.
The pavilion was inaugurated in the presence of distinguished industry leaders, including Mr. Suvankar Sen, Managing Director & CEO, Senco Gold & Diamonds, as Chief Guest, along with Mr. B. A. Ramesh, Joint Managing Director, Thangamayil Jewellery Limited, and Mr. Varghese Jos Alukkas, Managing Director, Jos Alukkas, as Guests of Honour.
The dedicated SGL Pavilion brings together leading diamond manufacturers from across the globe alongside an immersive SGL Experience Zone, creating a curated destination focused on innovation, technology, certification excellence and transparency within the gem and jewellery industry. The SGL Pavilion reflects a shared industry commitment to strengthening transparency, fostering business opportunities and enabling greater consumer confidence through technology and credible diamond certification.
The screening machines will be provided as inventory to premium Divine Solitaires partner jewellers, enabling consumers to access the technology free of charge at participating stores. The facility can also be used by consumers to screen jewellery purchased from another jeweller, extending access to diamond verification beyond the original point of purchase. The machines were inaugurated in the presence of Mr. Rajesh Rokde, Chairman, GJS; Mr. Avinash Gupta, Vice Chairman, GJS; Mr. Suvankar Sen, Managing Director, Senco Gold & Jewellery; Mr. Varghese Alukkas, Managing Director, Jos Alukkas; Mr. Chirag Soni, Co-Founder & Director, SGL Labs; Ms. Shirin Bandukwalla, Co-Founder & Director, SGL Labs; and Mr. Jignesh Mehta, Founder & Managing Director, Divine Solitaires.
