The 2025 edition of JAS – The Premium B2B Show, held from 4th to 6th July at the Novotel Jaipur Convention Centre, proved once again why Jaipur is considered the beating heart of India’s jewellery industry. Organised by the Jewellers Association Jaipur (JA Jaipur), the three-day event drew thousands of buyers, exhibitors, and trade professionals, while setting a new benchmark for participation, design innovation, and international collaboration.
An Inauguration Marked by Industry and State Leadership
The show opened with a ceremonial flourish in the presence of Princess Diya Kumari, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan, and C.K. Venkataraman, Managing Director of Titan Company (Tanishq), as the Chief Guest. Their presence, along with a hall filled with dignitaries, set a confident tone for what was to follow. The inaugural day also witnessed the unveiling of Gem World, the official magazine of the Jewellers Association Jaipur.
A landmark development this year was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Jewellers Association Jaipur and the Indian-Thai Chamber of Commerce (ITCC), aimed at deepening Indo-Thai cooperation in the gems and jewellery sector. This strategic tie-up signals growing global interest in Jaipur’s trade and craftsmanship.
A Global Platform Rooted in Indian Excellence
With over 5,500 daily footfalls, JAS 2025 attracted buyers from the USA, Germany, London, the Middle East, Thailand, and across Southeast Asia. The Hosted Buyers Program played a crucial role in connecting reputed Indian retailers with international trade delegates, paving the way for significant business leads and cross-border collaboration.
Throughout the venue, exhibitors showcased the finest in coloured gemstones, diamond jewellery, jadau, and design-led collections. Business momentum remained strong, with trade estimates suggesting transactions and inquiries worth several crores.
JEA 2025: A Night to Remember
The show’s most celebrated evening was the Jewellery Eminence Awards (JEA) 2025, held on 5th July. This year’s theme—“Royale D’Art”—paid homage to India’s regal heritage, artistic grandeur, and timeless cultural pride. The glittering evening saw Bollywood actress Shazahn Padamsee walk the red carpet and honour the industry’s finest.
Adding further gravitas was the presence of Hon’ble Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma, who presented key honours, including the JEA Lifetime Achievement Award and Artisan Awards. In his speech, the Chief Minister applauded the exceptional creativity on display and reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to supporting the jewellery trade, while encouraging greater women’s participation across the sector.
Speaking on the occasion, Alok Sonkhiya, President of the Jewellers Association Jaipur, reminded attendees of their shared passion:
“We are part of a truly beautiful business—one that deals with nature’s rarest creations. First and foremost, we are lovers of gemstones, and that sentiment is the soul of our trade.”
The evening also featured remarks from Neeraj Lunawat (Hon. Secretary), Ashok Maheshwari (Convener), and Raju Mangodiwala (Vice President & Co-Convener), each underscoring the association’s long-term vision for the sector.
Final Day & Forward Momentum
On its concluding day, JAS 2025 continued to buzz with activity—deal-making, innovation showcases, and industry discussions all carried through to the final hours. Notable dignitaries including Madan Rathore (President, BJP Rajasthan), Kusum Yadav (Mayor, Jaipur Heritage), and Balamukund Acharya (MLA, Hawa Mahal Constituency) visited the show, reflecting strong local support.
The Jewellers Association Jaipur officially announced the dates for the next edition: 3rd to 5th July 2026—an early invitation to all stakeholders to prepare for an even more ambitious showcase next year.
JAS 2025 not only reaffirmed Jaipur’s global stature as a jewellery capital but also reinforced the power of community-led platforms to bring design, business, and dialogue together under one roof.
