Everlite is taking its lightweight jewellery proposition to a national audience with actor Wamiqa Gabbi as the brand's first national ambassador.
The association marks a new chapter for the Senco Gold & Diamonds-owned label, which is looking to grow beyond its current markets and build stronger connections with younger jewellery buyers. As jewellery increasingly moves from occasion dressing into everyday wardrobes, Everlite is positioning itself around pieces that are easy to wear, versatile and suited to modern lifestyles.
The brand currently has 17 stores across six states and eight cities, with a portfolio spanning 9K, 14K and 18K gold as well as diamond jewellery. Its collections cover everyday staples including earrings, rings, pendants, bracelets and bangles.
The focus on lightweight jewellery also reflects a broader shift in consumer preferences. Rising gold prices, along with changing attitudes towards how jewellery is worn, have made lighter pieces and lower-carat options increasingly relevant. For younger consumers in particular, jewellery is becoming less about saving pieces for weddings and festivals and more about incorporating them into daily dressing.
Senco has been building its strategy around this change, identifying millennials, Gen Z and working women as important audiences for the lightweight category. Everlite's proposition is centred on jewellery that can transition across settings, from the office to casual occasions and beyond.
Gabbi's personal relationship with jewellery fits naturally into that narrative. Rather than viewing fine jewellery as something reserved for particular moments, she gravitates towards pieces that can stay on throughout the day and add detail to an outfit without feeling cumbersome.
For Senco, her appointment is therefore more than a celebrity association. It represents the kind of consumer the brand hopes to speak to: someone who sees jewellery as an extension of personal style and wants pieces that feel contemporary, wearable and effortless.
With Gabbi leading its national communication, Everlite is aiming to give lightweight jewellery a stronger presence in India's everyday jewellery conversation while continuing to expand its footprint.
