A Launch That Drew the Right Crowd

Delhi’s luxury circuit had a moment this week as Dillano Jewels opened its flagship store with a launch that felt both deliberate and well-timed. The evening brought together the city’s most discerning clientele, but it was Farhana Bodi, global influencer and Netflix personality, who set the tone for the occasion.

Dressed in a deep burgundy off-shoulder gown and styled in Dillano’s signature pieces, Farhana led the ribbon-cutting, placing the spotlight firmly where it belonged. The jewellery did the talking. A floral statement choker paired with matching earrings became the focal point, capturing the brand’s design language in a single look.

“Delhi has an energy of its own, and I’m absolutely here for the bling,” she said, summing up the mood of the evening.

Built on Craft and Early Conviction

Behind the brand is Chitwn D. Malhotra, who founded Dillano Jewels at 21 after training as a Jewellery Analyst at the Gemmological Institute of America. His first collection sold out at its debut showcase, setting the pace for what would become a steadily growing name in India’s fine jewellery space.

Over the years, Dillano has built its identity on handcrafted pieces in 14 and 18-karat gold, set with diamonds and coloured gemstones including rubies, emeralds, and sapphires. The work has found its way onto red carpets and high-profile wardrobes, with appearances at Cannes and on names like Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Malaika Arora, Dia Mirza, and Bipasha Basu. Recognition has followed, including a World Gold Council award for innovation and a place in the Times 40 Under 40.

A Store Designed as a Statement

The Delhi flagship signals more than expansion. It reflects how the brand sees its next phase. The space has been positioned as an extension of its design philosophy, where craftsmanship and detail take precedence over excess.

As Malhotra noted during the launch, the store is meant to feel personal rather than transactional. It brings together years of design thinking, technical precision, and an approach that places the client at the centre of the experience. The intent is clear. This is not simply a retail address, but a controlled environment where jewellery is encountered with focus.

A New Category Enters the Frame

Alongside the store opening, Dillano has introduced its first-ever men’s jewellery line, marking a significant addition to its portfolio. The collection responds to a growing shift among male clients who are increasingly engaging with fine jewellery as a form of self-expression.

“Men’s jewellery is not just a trend; it’s a return to expression,” Malhotra said. “It allows men to define personal style, mark moments, and communicate individuality in a more considered way.”

The collection is available exclusively in-store, reinforcing the brand’s preference for a more guided and immersive buying experience.

Looking Ahead

With over 1,500 clients and a steadily expanding international base, including buyers from Dubai and the United States, Dillano is entering this new chapter with momentum. The Delhi flagship, combined with the introduction of menswear jewellery, points to a brand that is sharpening its identity while widening its reach.

For Delhi, the store adds another serious player to its luxury landscape. For Dillano, it marks a moment of consolidation and intent, where scale meets clarity, and growth is anchored in craft.
