The leadership change follows strong momentum in the company’s fastest-growing market.

Pandora has announced that Berta de Pablos-Barbier, currently its Chief Marketing Officer, will step into the role of President and Chief Executive Officer in March 2026, succeeding Alexander Lacik.

Headquartered in Copenhagen, the jewellery major employs 37,000 people worldwide, including 8,000 across the United States, where it operates more than 500 stores. The U.S. has emerged as Pandora’s largest and fastest-growing market, fuelling the company’s ambitious expansion strategy.

De Pablos-Barbier brings more than three decades of global leadership experience across luxury and consumer goods. Since joining Pandora’s executive team in late 2024, she has played a pivotal role in shaping its brand vision. Her earlier career spans senior positions at leading global names in fashion, jewellery, and consumer brands, including leadership roles where she drove brand repositioning, growth, and innovation.

Commenting on her appointment, she said: “Even though we are the largest in our industry, Pandora still holds significant untapped potential. I look forward to leading this next chapter with our extraordinary teams worldwide.”

In line with its expansion strategy, Pandora recently unveiled a new Americas distribution centre in Anne Arundel, Maryland. The facility increases the company’s distribution capacity by nearly 80%, covering 107,000 square feet, and introduces advanced fulfilment systems designed to enhance efficiency and speed across both retail and digital platforms.
