The tournament will feature 12 teams comprising members of the gem and jewellery fraternity. Participation is exclusively open to association members, with each team required to include a minimum of eight youth members, ensuring active involvement from the next generation of industry professionals.
Adding a special highlight to the event, a friendly exhibition match will be played between the current working committee and the former Presidents and Secretaries, bringing together experience and leadership in a spirit of camaraderie.
The player selection process, held on 12th March 2026, witnessed the presence of President Alok Sonkia, Hon. Secretary Neeraj Lunawat, along with members of the Executive Committee.
Speaking on the occasion, JAY Convenor Govind Kumar Gupta highlighted the remarkable growth of the youth wing, which has expanded from 160 members to over 550 within just two years. He emphasized that the tournament is designed to foster unity, sportsmanship, and stronger networking opportunities within the community.
