

The Jewellers’ Association, Jaipur, hosted a grand felicitation ceremony to welcome and honour Jaipur Mayor Sunil Kothari. The occasion was particularly significant for the association as, for the first time in its 100-year history, a former member of its Executive Committee has gone on to become the Mayor of Jaipur.
The felicitation ceremony was held under the leadership of Association President Raju Agrawal Mangodiwala, with members of the Executive Committee and representatives and members of various association committees in attendance. Members congratulated Sunil Kothari on assuming the office of Mayor and extended their best wishes for his tenure.
Speaking on the occasion, President Raju Agrawal Mangodiwala said that the achievement was not only a matter of pride for Sunil Kothari but for the entire Jewellers’ Association family. He noted that, in the association’s 100-year history, having an Executive Committee member rise to the position of Mayor of Jaipur was a proud moment for the entire jewellery industry.
Association Secretary Ajay Godha, Vice President Govind Agrawal, Treasurer Govind Gupta, Joint Secretary Mahaveer Daga, Vijay Kedia and Nirmal Bardia, along with office-bearers, committee members and a large number of jewellers, were present at the ceremony. Members felicitated Mayor Sunil Kothari with bouquets and garlands and conveyed their wishes for a successful tenure.
The association’s office-bearers and members described Sunil Kothari’s appointment as Mayor as a historic and proud moment for the organisation. They expressed hope that, under his leadership, Jaipur would achieve new milestones in its development.
