The International Gemological Institute (IGI) recognised three prominent leaders of India's gem and jewellery sector at the Diamond Tribute Awards ceremony held during D Show Goa 2026.
Ashok Minawala, Founder Chairman of the Gem & Jewellery Council (GJC), Kirit Bhansali, Chairman of the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), and K. Srinivasan, Chairman & Managing Director of Emerald Jewel Industry India Ltd. and Convener of GJEPC's Gold Panel, were honoured for their exceptional contributions to the industry.
The awards were presented by Tehmasp Printer, Global CEO of IGI, in recognition of the recipients' leadership, vision and efforts in advancing the growth and development of India's gem and jewellery sector.
Through their respective roles, the awardees have played an important part in strengthening the industry's global presence, fostering innovation and supporting its long-term progress.
