Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Pratap Madhukar Kamath expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the people of Karavali ( coastal Karnataka ) and Bengaluru for their continued trust, affection and support throughout the family’s remarkable journey.
Coinciding with the International Day of the Girl Child, observed worldwide on 11 October, ABARAN also announced the launch of “SukanyaAbarana”, a special savings scheme dedicated to the girl child. The initiative aims to encourage the habit of saving from an early age, promote financial security, and empower young girls to build a financially independent and secure future. Through this initiative, ABARAN seeks to contribute towards the long-term well-being and empowerment of the next generation of young women.
Dr. Pratap Madhukar Kamath also announced plans to undertake various Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives in Udupi in honour of his grandfather, reaffirming the family’s commitment to giving back to the community where its journey began.
As part of its continued expansion, ABARAN is preparing to unveil a new flagship jewellery showroom in Udupi, the birthplace of its jewellery legacy.
The celebration marked not only the 125th birth anniversary of its visionary founder but also the continuation of a four-generation family legacy built on trust, tradition, craftsmanship and excellence since 1935.
