André Messika Diamonds Rewards Staff with N$180,000 Payout
André Messika Diamonds has reaffirmed its commitment to employee empowerment by distributing N$180,000 through its Employee Share Participation Trust this week.
The diamond manufacturer, which employs around 71 people, is recognized as the country’s leading employer of individuals with disabilities and hearing impairments.
Director Marc Friedman emphasized that even with the turbulence facing the global diamond market in 2025, the company’s workforce remains its greatest asset. “Our employees are more than staff—they are owners and family. Each diamond polished here carries their dedication and artistry,” he said.
The announcement was warmly received by the team, with management commending staff for creating not just a successful business but a culture of pride and ownership.
Trustee Josph Kunyenga noted the transformation he has witnessed among employees. “They no longer come in just to do a job; they arrive with the mindset of owners. That shift brings loyalty, ambition, and a strong sense of belonging that bodes well for the future.”
Founded in 2007, André Messika Diamonds has steadily grown into a respected player in the responsible luxury sector, championing both craftsmanship and inclusive employment.
