The new collection merges two Italian luxury houses’ artisanal legacies into fluid, gem-studded forms unveiled during Gucci’s 2026 Cruise show in Florence.

In a first-of-its-kind collaboration, Gucci and Pomellato have unveiled Monili, a high jewellery collection that brings together the tactile elegance of Gucci’s leatherwork and the refined goldsmithing traditions of Pomellato. The collection’s name—Monili, the Italian word for “jewels”—echoes its poetic minimalism and sculptural finesse.

Both brands, part of the Kering Group, have combined their heritage to create a bold yet understated language of luxury, fusing precious metals, fine leather, and diamonds into a seamless, modern expression. Inspired by Pomellato’s archival pieces from 1984, Monili revisits essential forms and imbues them with contemporary clarity and sensual fluidity.

Described by Gucci as “a study in balance, contrast, and intention,” the pieces feature soft, continuous lines and rich textures, crafted with meticulous detail. The capsule includes bracelets, a leather minaudière, and a supple clutch—all finished in sculptural silhouettes that blur the boundaries between accessory and adornment.

The collaboration made its official debut in May, gracing the runway during Gucci’s 2026 Cruise collection showcase in Florence. With Monili, the two Italian maisons have crafted a collection that is both grounded in heritage and strikingly modern, positioning it as a new benchmark for cross-category haute design.
