Audemars Piguet has introduced the Sapphire Orbe 67705BC, a remarkable showcase of haute joaillerie where watchmaking takes on a quietly poetic form. Inspired by the Orbe river that runs through Le Brassus, the piece captures the gentle shift from night to dawn through an intricate gradient of over 12,000 gemstones—moving from deep sapphire tones to warm oranges and brilliant diamonds.

Shaped as an elegant teardrop wrapped in layered, petal-like rings, the design creates a rippling surface that glitters with every movement. At its heart lies a discreet domed chamber concealing a small quartz watch, allowing the jewel’s sculptural form to stay uninterrupted.

Crafted across more than 1,050 hours, each stone is individually cut and positioned to mimic the natural flow of water. Priced at around $1 million, the Sapphire Orbe stands as one of Audemars Piguet’s most striking blends of artistic vision and technical finesse.
