Sharjah is preparing to roll out the red carpet for one of the world’s largest gatherings of watchmakers and jewellers. From September 24 to 28, 2025, the Expo Centre Sharjah will stage the 56th Watch & Jewellery Middle East Show, featuring more than 500 international brands and designers across 21 countries.
A Legacy of Glamour and Growth
Since its inception in 1993, the biannual exhibition has evolved from a modest regional showcase into a headline event on the global jewellery calendar. With 55 successful editions behind it, the show now attracts over 87,000 visitors per edition, including collectors, traders, retailers, and style enthusiasts.
Memorable highlights over the years have included luxury car raffles, diamond pendant giveaways, and even the unveiling of the world’s largest gold ring. Yet beyond its sparkle, the event has established itself as a powerful business hub—bridging regional talent with international buyers and spotlighting fine craftsmanship across gold, diamonds, pearls, and luxury watches.
The 2025 Line-Up: Bigger, Bolder, Broader
This year’s edition will cover a sprawling 30,000 square metres and bring together more than 1,800 jewellers, designers, and manufacturers. Alongside strong participation from markets such as India, Italy, Turkey, China, Singapore, and the UAE, first-time exhibitors from Australia, Myanmar, and Pakistan will make their debut—signalling the event’s widening international reach. National pavilions will showcase the strength of regional markets, including India, Singapore, and Thailand, while Italy alone will feature over 50 exhibitors. Visitors can expect everything from timeless gold creations and rare diamonds to avant-garde pieces in tune with global fashion trends.
Record-Breaking Momentum
The last edition of the show drew an impressive 87,000 visitors from 106 nations, generating sales worth AED 105 million (USD 28.6 million). With over 1,400 industry professionals attending, it reinforced Sharjah’s role as a vital hub for luxury trade.
Commenting on the upcoming edition, Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah, said the exhibition continues to serve as both a marketplace and a trendsetting platform, helping businesses anticipate industry directions while building global connections.
More than an Exhibition
This year’s programme will go beyond dazzling displays, offering workshops and expert-led sessions focused on jewellery design, manufacturing, and business strategies. These sessions aim to equip industry players with knowledge and practices to sharpen their competitive edge.
Open to ALL
The exhibition will welcome both trade professionals and the general public. Timings are 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday, and 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Friday. With its dynamic mix of luxury, innovation, and global participation, the Watch & Jewellery Middle East Show remains a must-attend event on the international jewellery circuit.
