

Kalyan Jewellers has stepped into the UK market with a flagship showroom on Leicester’s iconic Golden Mile, known for its vibrant jewellery and South Asian retail culture. The new space was formally opened by Pramod Agrawal, Chairman of the National Gem & Jewellery Council of India, along with Rajesh Kalyanaraman, Executive Director of Kalyan Jewellers.
The Leicester showroom features the brand’s signature lines — including Muhurat, Mudhra, Nimah, Antara, Rang and Lila — all displayed within a modern environment that puts design and craftsmanship at the forefront. This move marks another milestone in the brand’s growing global presence, which already spans the Middle East and the United States.
Speaking at the opening, Rajesh Kalyanaraman said the new location aims to offer a complete jewellery destination tailored to the city’s dynamic Indian diaspora. He emphasised the brand’s commitment to delivering the same trust, quality and transparency that customers associate with Kalyan Jewellers.
The Leicester launch is one of six international stores planned as part of the company’s broader expansion strategy, which includes 90 new openings this year.
