India has marked a notable presence at two of Hong Kong’s most prominent gem and jewellery exhibitions through the India Pavilion, organised by the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC). The Pavilion is featured across the Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show (DGP), held from 2nd to 6th March 2026 at AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE), and the Hong Kong International Jewellery Show, taking place from 4th to 8th March 2026 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC).

The Pavilion was officially inaugurated by Mr. Rajesh N. Naik, Consul General of India in Hong Kong, in the presence of Ms. Simlely Lam, Assistant Executive Director of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), and Ms. Mandy Ng, Director – Exhibitions and Digital Business.

Spread across approximately 1,350 square metres, the India Pavilion hosts 100 exhibitors occupying 150 booths. The showcase presents a wide spectrum of products, including loose diamonds, lab-grown diamonds and jewellery, gemstones, studded jewellery, fine jewellery, and silver jewellery, reflecting the depth and diversity of India’s gem and jewellery sector.

These concurrent exhibitions provide an important international platform for Indian companies to display their craftsmanship, connect with global buyers, and stay informed about evolving market trends. With Hong Kong continuing to be a key export destination for India’s gem and jewellery industry, participation in these shows further strengthens trade partnerships and underscores India’s growing presence in the global marketplace.
