Rio Grande, the Albuquerque-based wholesale supplier serving jewelers and artisans since 1944, has named Nicolette Bianchi as its new Marketing Director. Known for her expertise in digital innovation and brand growth, Bianchi joins the company with more than 15 years of cross-industry experience.
In this leadership role, she will guide the company’s marketing vision across strategy, advertising, digital engagement, brand positioning, and content. Her focus will include strengthening Rio Grande’s online presence, broadening its reach in key markets, and deepening connections with jewelers, manufacturers, educators, and other industry professionals.
Nicolette offers a dynamic perspective and a proven ability to drive innovation in customer-first industries,” said Dennis Claspell, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Rio Grande. “Her leadership will help us build on our long-standing values of creativity, efficiency, and reliability while continuing to support U.S.-based manufacturing.
Before joining Rio Grande in July 2025, Bianchi worked in digital product development at Los Alamos National Laboratory, creating web platforms that supported both internal communications and national security initiatives. Her earlier career included over a decade in financial services, where she spearheaded marketing growth efforts at Nusenda Credit Union and contributed to brand strategy at Thornburg Investment Management.
Bianchi earned her Master’s in Integrated Marketing Communications from West Virginia University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Communication from Arizona State University.
As Rio Grande enters its ninth decade, the company remains committed to helping jewelers thrive. By manufacturing and sourcing much of its inventory domestically, it continues to provide reliable access to quality materials while reducing exposure to global supply chain challenges.
