The new edition of Buyer Seller Meeting, the B2B event held in Brazil in 2026 promises to bring the largest South American delegation of visitors. The focus, which initially in the first two years was on Brazilian visitors due to Brazil being the largest consumer market in Latin America and one of the world's leading economies, has since 2025 included retailers and wholesalers from other South American countries such as Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Peru, and Bolivia.

On a recent trip to Paraguay, members of the Mubri Association, one of the most important in the jewelry sector, met with the Paraguayan Ministry of Industry and Commerce to take advantage of tariff benefits between Mercosur countries, aiming to facilitate faster and more efficient business between suppliers and buyers during the event. This effort by Mubri members is due to the growing interest of major industry leaders in establishing branches in the region, recognizing the loyalty and quality of visitors attending BSM( Buyer Seller Meeting) Brasil.

BSM Brasil is known for delivering an exclusive event where only the leading companies from Brazil and South America are invited to visit companies from outside Latin America in the diamond, gold refining, jewelry manufacturing, and colored gemstone sectors. The event has established itself on the agenda as a prime business route and, in less than three years, has become the leading B2B event in Latin America.

In 2026, the concept will remain the same, but with more delegations confirmed to attend and stay at the same hotel where the event takes place. Exhibitors already confirmed include major global companies, De Beers sight holders, RJC affiliates, and LBMA member companies, all committed to continuing to bring quality products responsibly to the South American public. "My mission, more than creating large events, is to bring quality products to the region and for this to become, over the decades, a primary requirement for Latin American companies to be present in the regional market. For the sector to improve and maintain quality, it depends on each of us making good choices, which includes seeking out good suppliers," explains Ali Pastorini, the main person responsible for bringing this concept and an enthusiast for opening Latin America to the world.

The event will take place again in May in the city of São Paulo, offering two days of networking and business opportunities in a safe and high-quality business environment. The number of international exhibitors is limited, as usual, to ensure meetings with key leaders in the region.
